Vineyards

Our vineyards are ideally located at the northern end of the Sacramento River Delta. Our vines thrive in the fertile valley soil and are irrigated by the pure river water that flows alongside our vineyards. With an average of 265 sunny days a year, our grapes enjoy a long growing season of warm days and cool nights - courtesy of our famous Delta breeze. Together with the attentive care of our experienced and dedicated vineyard team, these elements collaboratively ensure high quality wine grapes.

Reamer Farms strives to be responsible members of our community and the larger industry. We are committed to practices that protect soil and water health, community and employee well-being, as well as the needs of future generations. We value our relationships with our customers, employees, vendors, consultants, and neighbors and recognize them as integral parts of what we do. We participate in continuing education opportunities, we support innovation and research, and we are eager to incorporate new science and technology into our operation. Reamer Farms is a proud member of the Clarksburg Wine Growers and Vintners Association, the California Association of Winegrape Growers, and the American Society for Enology and Viticulture.

To us, Reamer Farms is more than a family business, though. Surrounding the vineyards are more than fifty acres of riparian habitat that is home to various wildlife including egrets, blue herons, wood ducks, owls, turkeys, rabbits, and coyotes. Our horses graze in open pastures under groves of valley oaks. You will also find Berkshire pigs and Wagyu-Angus cross cattle which we raise for our family and employees. During the summer and fall, we enjoy fresh vegetables from our garden and a variety of fruit from our 20 fruit trees. The old barns, shops, and outbuildings scattered around the property were built in the early 1900s and are still used today. In fact, the main house on the property has been home to five generations of Reamers.

Reamer Farms is not only where we work, it is also the place we proudly call home.
